Our First event of 2025

On Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, We Met IRL hosted our first speed dating event of the year at The Tippler, a stylish and intimate bar nestled in Chelsea Market. The vibes were unmatched, and with 44 singles in attendance, the night was filled with laughter, excitement, and authentic connections.

We’re thrilled to announce that We Met IRL event tickets are now available on POSH.vip! To celebrate this new partnership, members of their social team joined us to document the event for an upcoming social media post—we'll be sure to link it once it goes live. This marks an exciting step in making our events more accessible while expanding our reach to even more singles in NYC.

As one of the first and most popular IRL dating events catering to a younger demographic in New York City, we take pride in creating experiences that foster genuine, in-person connections. With the city’s dating scene becoming increasingly saturated with events, we’re honored that so many attendees continue to choose We Met IRL. Our expertise in curating engaging, high-energy speed dating events ensures that every guest leaves feeling seen, valued, and hopeful about their dating journey.

We’ve been partnering with The Tippler for about eight months, bringing fun and engaging singles programming to their space on Tuesday and Thursday nights—days that are typically slower for the venue. It’s been an incredible collaboration, helping to create a lively atmosphere while offering a unique dating experience for NYC singles. If you own a bar or know of a bar that would like to work with us, we’d love to hear from you! Please email us at wemetirl@gmail.com to explore partnership opportunities.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible team, our attendees, and The Tippler for helping us kick off 2025 in style. Be sure to check out the photos from the night—we love capturing these moments of serendipity and spark! Stay tuned for more exciting events to come.
